  2. Alarm README file
  3. Version 1.2

  6. If you have an aversion to Install programs, you can 
  7. manually install Alarm by doing the following:
  8.  
  9. Note: ONLY DO THIS IF YOU ARE MANUALLY
  10. INSTALLING.  IF YOU WANT THE INSTALLER
  11. TO DO THE WORK, THEN PRESS THE CONTINUE 
  12. BUTTON AND SIT BACK. 
  13.  
  14. 1. Press the Continue button to close this readme file.
  15. 2. At this point the installation process will begin.
  16. 3. Press the Cancel button to stop it and go to DOS 
  17.    (or use the File Manager to perform the equivalent steps
  18.    described below).
  19. 4. Make an Alarm directory (call it what you want).
  20. 5. COPY Alarm.EXE, Alarm.HLP, and Readme.WRI to the
  21.    Alarm directory.
  22. 6. COPY Ctl3dv2.DLL to the Windows\System 
  23.    directory, but do not copy over a newer version
  24.    if one exists.
  25. 6. Back in Windows, install the icon in whatever Program
  26.    Group you wish.
  27.  
  28. If any of these instuctions don't make sense, then simply
  29. use this Install program.
